The University of Central Florida enters the 21st century with an emphasis on technology. The Office of Transfer Services is proud to provide you with the new UCF Transfer Student Counseling Manual for 2001 - 2002 on CD rom. This CD was created to provide a cost efficient, yet informative way to provide the latest information about UCF requirements. This new project will allow us more flexibility and increased space to provide more information to counselors. The CD will provide counselors with easy access to the majors or the ability to print out a copy for your reference. In addition, we are still providing the information through our Web site which increases in use every month. There are some changes in the manual this year. The transfer counseling manual and the UCF catalog are virtually the same. Some majors have changed their formal name while other majors and programs have been added. There is now a section on AS to BS programs as well as more information about the common program prerequisites for education majors. Using our CD-ROM version is easy.
On behalf of the UCF faculty, staff, transfer students, and my staff in Transfer Services, I would like to thank you for all of your hard work and efforts for students. As always, please call one of the staff members in Transfer Services (407-823-2231) whenever you have a question or need further information. You can also reach us by e-mail at tservices@mail.ucf.edu. We appreciate your support of the University of Central Florida and look forward to working with you in the future. Sincerely,Dr. Mark Allen Poisel |
